Mason Gravley and Natalie Herrod
Mason Gravley: Hello, my name is Mason Gravley. I’m 23 years old and was born and raised in the small town of Frostproof, Florida. I love traveling the country by bicycle while photographing and journaling the experience. I’ve learned that God’s grace and love is evident throughout all of his creation, leading me to believe that the connection we feel with nature goes far beyond beautiful scenery, but gives us insight to the creator. With that said, I’m more than excited for the adventure and opportunity of working for and serving Him this summer in Yosemite. Natalie Herrod: Hi, I’m Natalie Herrod from Joplin, Missouri! I am studying Intercultural Studies and Business at Ozark Christian College. I’m excited to spend my summer in Yosemite National Park because I believe that God created a beautiful world that should be admired and taken care of by His believers. I’ve known Christ and His love since I was little, and have sought to love people the way Christ loves them ever since. I really enjoy hiking, swimming, and making new friends!
That is the difference. He has done the impossible work for us. All that is left is for us to choose to stand in that flowing mercy, the river that never ceases to flow and wash clean.
In an effort to merge two resounding loves in my life, the Word of God and the Works of God, I have decided to embark on an 8,000 mile bicycle pilgrimage through nearly 30 national parks while simultaneously raising $30,000 for Wycliffe Bible Translators. As I approach the finish line of both of these goals, I reflect on what an awe-inspiring adventure it has become.
