Having been founded in 1951, A Christian Ministry in the National Parks has intersected with millions of people. Over the last six decades this ministry has developed a substantial national community: Ministry Staff Alum who are now in church and lay leadership, families of Ministry Staff Members, individuals who have worshipped in the parks, and others who identify with the ACMNP mission. Like the branches of a tree, these people are extensions of our National Office and form a greater community that provides an infrastructure of local support for our Ministry Teams in the parks.
