Park photos: best of the best!

Friday, August 24, 2012

We're convinced that America's national parks are some of the most impressive places in the world.  They are beautiful, sacred, wild, rugged, dangerous, and truly awesome.  And they're where our teams spend their days each summer and winter - encountering God through creation and helping others do the same.

To that end, we're pleased to showcase this year's annual photo contest winners, submitted by team members and Ministry Support Committee members across the country.  All entries will be featured on our website and in social media during the coming months, and winners will also receive an ACMNP water bottle.  We hope you enjoy seeing these photos and dreaming of your next national park adventure as much as we did!

I quite like reading a post that will make men and women think. Also, thanks for permitting me to comment!

Thanks for posting these images here. And, congrats to photographers. It was an NPS photographer in Yellowstone who provided me with my working definition for photography. It is literally "writing with light." You contributors write exceptionally well.
I'm grateful to be a recipient of your gifts and a participant as well — "encountering God in the wonders of creation."
